What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate Marketing is when you refer someone to a product or service online using a unique link, and if they purchase through your relationship, you earn a commission. You know how you recommend different products or places to friends? Well, now you can get paid for it! All you need to do is to get a unique link from us, and we will recognize the sale that it is from you.
Some notes: Affiliate Marketing works best when you have an audience that trusts you, and you promote products/services you’ve actually used.
Pro Tip: When using Affiliate links ALWAYS make them “no-follow” links. When you add a link to a website, it will always be a “follow” link and Google and other search engines will penalise you for using too many paid links, so to get around that you can download a no follow plug-in and edit your affiliate links to look like this below. If you use WordPress, click on your hyperlink and then edit. Check the rel=”nofollow” and Open a link in a new tab so the user can stay on your site.
How is it done: visitors click from your site to Clever Botanics and purchase items and we will provide you with a 5% discount code to offer to your customers, you will then earn another 10% commission on sales from eligible referrals.
We do appreciate that not all potential leads are converted on the same day. We, therefore, allow one week of grace and will detect each click generated by your affiliate ID and store a cookie in the visitor’s computer. If the visitor makes a purchase within 7 days of the most recent click, you’ll get 10% of the sales revenue.
We keep track of the most recent clicks and you can see them on your own affiliate area (it’s an easy way to make sure the link you added on your website is working correctly).
Examples of how to use our Affiliate Marketing?
Facebook Groups: One approach could be to promote on Facebook among your friends. Rather simple, but you do need to be careful not to do this excessively for apparent reasons. The shares need to comply with the group's policies.
Other forums and social media platforms: Instagram and the related subject closed forums are also helpful, but they are not as effective as FaceBook. LinkedIn posts are generally beneficial if they link to one of our blogs rather than a product in particular. Linkedin requires a particularly professional in approach to be seen, and careful considerations should be given to the wording you use in the promotion.

You will be paid in Great British Pound. The paypal fees, if incurred, will be born by the affiliate.
When will you get paid: you will receive the payment ~30 days after the end of the month in which the sale was made.

Terms & Conditions:
By joining our Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree with the terms and conditions.
Clever Botanics reserves the right to add, delete and/or modify any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement, at any time and at its discretion alone, by posting a notice announcing a change or a new agreement on the hempbotanics.com website. If you do not wish to accept a particular amendment, you only reserve the right to terminate the agreement and your participation in the Affiliate Program.
Your continued participation in the Affiliate Program following notice of a change or a new agreement on the Clever Botanics website will automatically constitute acceptance of the changes.
Please do not: use the discount code as a way to entice sales. We would request that customers are referred to Clever Botanics for valid reasons. Please also be sure not to word your article or recommendation in locations that may cause offence to others.
Your obligations: You must use the Affiliate Program in a manner that demonstrates common sense and respect for the rights of hempbotanics.com and our third parties. You may not use our Affiliate Program on a website promoting sexually explicit material, violence, any kind of discrimination or illegal activities.
Any kind of advertisement causing damage to the name “Clever Botanics” or products are prohibited. Spam, unwanted commercial e-mails, posting in unappropriated newsgroups or forums (non-commercial for example) are also strictly prohibited. Please do not advertise in any way that effectively conceals or misrepresents your identity, your domain name or your return e-mail address.
You may not use our affiliate program on any website URL that contains all or part of our products’ name, company name or web site name.
Termination: Clever Botanics reserves the right to terminate this agreement and your participation in our affiliate program immediately, should you commit fraud in your use of our affiliate program or should you abuse this program in any way unreasonable? If such fraud or abuse is detected, Clever Botanics shall not be liable to you for any commission for such fraudulent sales.
